Gay games in Cologne (Köln) – Senior Meeting

July 31st, 2010

The spectacular opening ceremony of the Gay Games in Cologne today starts the biggest LGBT sports and cultural event in the world – with over 9500 participants taking part in 34 sports and cultural events over a week of friendly competition in Cologne from 31 July to 8th August. See www.games-cologne.com

In addition to the participants, there are also friends, family, volunteers and spectators which can double the number of people at the event.

Many of the sports have age categories so that you compete with people of your own age group but even if you’re not competing, there is still plenty of activity and many of those who are taking part or spectating are seniors or senior admirers.

So to help them all to meet each other Paul (who is competing in the sailing regatta) has suggested we all meet up at 6pm on Wednesday 4th August at:
Bar MyLord
Mühlenbach 57
51147 Köln, Deutschland
0221 44907535
www.barmylord.de
(500 metres from the Heumarkt tram stop)

A WORLD WIDE CELEBRATION OF FRIENDS 2008 HAS COME AND GONE

June 30th, 2008

very nice views at the pool :-)Manny and I just got back from the 2008 Celebration of Friends. It was located in Miami at the beautiful Deauville Hotel. I am not sure how many seniors and admirers attended the convention, but there was a lot of fun that was had by all

This year Manny and I went not only as a part of the convention attendee but also as vendors to promote our Totally free and interactive web site http://gayseniors.info. We had a great time and met a lot of our members from the site from all over the world and U.S.A. We also had a chance to met a number of old friends that we handn’t been in touch with for years. Along with that we met and made a lot of new friends that would join us on the site and become totally free registered members. So I have to say that we had a totally GREAT time.

The nice thing about the Celebration is that it’s so laid back and relaxed. This is not usually the case at some of the other conventions we went to. They seemed to have structured activities and no just relax time. It seemed like one meeting after another with no down time to relax and unwind. Even though the celebration had a lot of off property activities and side trips.it still has a lot of time to interact with other guys.

Each year the COF Convention seems to get Bigger and Bigger and more and more fun. Soon I think that Tom Cat will have to think about building a convention center just for the COF alone.

If you would like to see some of the fun things that happened at the COF please go to the Gallery on all the men who stayed at the hotel had breakfast togetherthe gayseniors.info site and check it out.

If you attended the convention please let us know in the Forum area what you thought of the convention and some of your likes and what you would like to have improved in the coming years and what you would like to see more of. We love getting input from our members.

If you attended the convention I hope you didn’t miss the Las Vegas Magical Review presented by Kevin and Caruso. If you did miss it then please check it out if you’re in the area some time it’s a GOT TO SEE SHOW. It’s the longest running production in south Florida. It is every Sat night at 8 P.M. Check out some of the photos of some of the guys with one of the beautiful costumed show girls. If you would like to see what you missed and should see if you’re in the area go to http://bestshowinmiami.com/

It will give you a taste of what professional Vegas quality exists in the Deauville on Sat night at 8 P.M. Let us know if you’re going to be in the area we would love to see the show with you. We could see it together. The Magic of Kevin and Caruso can be seen again and again , as everyone who attended the show will attest to.

BY the way if your coming to the 2009 Celebration of Friends and would like to find someone to share a room with we wil be having a special area on our site where you can find a perfect roommate match to stay with during next years convention. Keep checking us out and in a few months you will be able to meet and connect with someone to share expenses and a room with.

By the way we would like to thank all of you for your kind wishes and thoughts and prayers when I was having my surgery. They were really appreciated. We would also like to thank you for your understanding when we were working on the site and moving it to another Bigger and Better server. Most of all we would like to thank you for checking out our DVDs and also for passing te word about the site to all your friends.

we at the COFKeep in touch. You are the most important part of the gayseniors.info family. Without your input Photos and Video clips and input we would not have grown the way we did and are doing. We are working hard to keep you hard.

Your friends and webmasters

Rob and Manny
